Merging of two B2B websites through strategic change of name

SE Tylose – your best partner

With this claim, the two business-to-business websites of (ShinEtsu Pharma & Food and SE Tylose) SE PFMD and SE Tylose were subjected to a complete web relaunch. The multilingual company website is technically based on the latest TYPO3 backend and relies on the most modern web technologies in the frontend.

The biggest challenge in this 360-degree project was the conceptual approach of merging the different target group needs on a web platform and creating a uniform, visibly clear usability for all user groups.

The content of the individual business units is differentiated by color coding and an extensive template structure. With the help of the imagery and typography, a universal design image was created for the Industrial, Healthcare and Food business units.

 

The focus is on the user experience

The entire B2B website is designed and implemented in a responsive design. At all touchpoints, the user groups experience an identical user experience and the same range of information – from smartphones to digital signage. The clear and flat navigation structure enables users to orientate themselves quickly.

 

Objective

The website setylose.com is primarily intended to offer customers and interested parties the opportunity to obtain extensive information about products and their applications. Users can communicate directly with specialists from an industry and region of the company. Extensive data material can be downloaded or requested immediately if users want more individual information. For this purpose, we have created the knowledge base, which is one of the core functions of the website.

Project description

In various workshops, from the start of the project to quality assurance, we worked agile together with the customer and the concept for the new orientation of the company website. It was particularly important for the customer, to see all integrated business units represented on the website as important as possible. We have migrated the different contents and functions of the previous two company websites into a new common database structure within the TYPO3 environment.

In addition, additional functions, such as the placement of DarkSites, individual registration forms for seminars and events, the connection to various YouTube channels and the docking of a career platform via API, should be integrated on the new website.
